RS-Racingteam Turns BMW M3 Into a Lightweight Track Racer

If you visit one of BMW's public websites here in the US, in Europe and other countries around the world, the only M3s available for order are Coupe and Convertible models as the Germans have ended production of the four-door sedan iteration.

However, as we learned today, there's still a way to get into a brand-new E90 M3 sedan via German aftermarket and motorsports outfit RS-Racingteam, which is offering new examples of the sports car.
Buyers have three options, including a regular model with performance enhancements for €80,000 (US$106,800 at the current exchange rates) and a thoroughbred racecar version for €110,000 (US$147,000), also available in street-legal form for an undisclosed price.
Depending on which program you choose, RS-Racingteam can bump the 4.0-liter V8's output from 414hp (420PS) to 444hp (450PS), strip out the interior and fit a full or partial roll-cage and bucket seats with six-point seat-belts, add 19-inch wheels with performance or racing tires, and a fully adjustable Brillstein suspension.
If you follow the race-spec path, the German tuner says the M3 is 190kg or close to 420 pounds lighter than the stock model.
