Toyota 2013

Toyota has finally revealed the redesigned 2013 Toyota Avalon and the company has chosen the 2012 New York Auto Show as the most appropriate venue for the launch of what Toyota is referring to as its flagship sedan.

During the vehicle's launch, a lot of car experts have noticed that Toyota's engineers and vehicle developers have accomplished a great job in implementing the redesigns that are currently found on the 2013 Toyota Avalon. Starting off with the exterior design, the 2013 Toyota Avalon has received a new set of LED tail lamps and projector-style head lights. In addition to this, the company has also revised the Avalon's exterior styling and this is quite visible on the vehicle's wider grilles, lowered beltline and flared front fenders. These changes made the Avalon look more intimidating and sporty. Toyota has also reduced the gap between the Avalon's body and its tires for better running performance.

The Avalon's interior design has also improved. For the 2013 version, the interior areas of the car are mostly covered with leather complimented by wooden trim. The Avalon's center console obtained a three 12-volt power outlets, a new set of auxiliary ports, and USB. It is also equipped with a standard 6.1-inch touch screen or an optional 7-inch screen with navigation system.

Toyota will also be offering a number of optional features on the 2013 Toyota Avalon such as the heated and cooled seats in front, radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert, and heated and cooled rear seats. In addition to this, some of the features such as the navigation system, JBL premium audio system, and three-zone air-conditioning system are also offered as optional items for the 2013 Toyota Avalon.

In order to reduce the amount of road noise which is usually heard inside the vehicle's cabin, Toyota engineers decided to use laminated glass on the Avalon's windshield. This was also the same type of glass that was used on the redesigned door mirrors of the vehicle. The company's engineers have also lowered the hip point of the vehicle's front seats by about 0.4 inch t increase the amount of headroom provided for the passengers in front.
